  • doesn't the president generally meet with championship teams sooner than nine months after the championship? the blackhawks aren't even leading their division, and are in fourth place in the western conference. and they're not in town to play the caps. the timing just seems odd.

  • so what? i'm afraid i don't understand the brouhaha. the man spoke his mind. i am firmly in agreement with his first point (racism/xenophobia). his second point is in conflict with the position of his employer, and he's leaving. end of story. big deal.

  • what about this revelation wasn't immediately obvious to anyone who gave it a second's thought? two syllogisms: divorce is prevalent in those following a stressful occupation. the military is a stressful occupation. ergo,divorce is prevalent in the military.
